Kids apps that work offline
Both Plippo apps run with the network switched off, start to finish — on a plane, in the car, at a holiday flat with no Wi-Fi. There are no Plippo servers for them to wait on.
Why most apps stop working offline
Many apps load their games, adverts or levels from a server each time they open. Without a connection they show a spinner, an error, or a request to “connect to continue”.
Plippo apps keep everything on the phone. The games, the pictures and everything you record are part of the app and its own storage, so a flight-mode phone behaves exactly like a connected one.
Before you travel
Install the app and open it once while you are online, so the store finishes setting it up.
If you bought the optional unlock on another phone or tablet, restore it in the app once while you are online.
In Plippo Games, a grown-up can set a daily time limit and choose which games are on — useful on a long journey.

Questions
Do Plippo apps need an internet connection?
No. Both apps run with the network switched off. The only network activity is an optional one-time purchase, handled by Apple’s or Google’s own store.
Can my child play Plippo Games on a plane?
Yes. Install it and open it once before the flight; after that every game works in flight mode.
Does Plippo Baby sync to a cloud?
No. Everything stays on the phone. You can export a backup file yourself and take it to a new phone; nothing is uploaded to Plippo.
