Kids apps without ads
An app can be free to install and still be built around advertising. Plippo’s two apps have never shown an advert — not a banner, not a pop-up, not a “watch a video to continue” button.
What “ad-free” should mean
No banners or pop-ups between the play. No video a child has to sit through to unlock the next level. No buttons that lead out of the app to a shop or another game.
And no advertising networks running quietly in the background: those are what collect data about the person holding the phone, so an app without them has no reason to track anyone.
How to check an app before you install it
Look at the store page: Google Play marks apps that show ads with “Contains ads”, and both stores list the data an app collects in its privacy section.
Read the in-app purchases: a long list of coin packs or a weekly subscription usually means the game is designed to make a child ask for them.
Try it yourself first, with the network switched off. An app that stops working offline is usually waiting for an advert or a server.
How Plippo does it
Plippo Games (ages 3–8) is a collection of gentle mini-games — colouring, puzzles, counting, cooking. Nothing can be failed, there is no score, and many games read the task aloud. Plippo Baby is a private pregnancy and baby tracker on one timeline, from kicks and contractions to feeds, sleep and the first years.
Neither app contains an advertising or analytics SDK. Both are free to try, and each has one optional purchase that unlocks more — paid once, never a subscription.

Questions
Do Plippo apps show ads?
No. Neither Plippo Games nor Plippo Baby has ever shown an advertisement, and neither contains an advertising or analytics SDK.
How do Plippo apps make money without ads?
Each app is free to try and has one optional, one-time purchase that unlocks more. That is the whole business model: no adverts, no data sold, no subscription.
Is “free” the same as “ad-free”?
No. Many free apps are paid for by advertising or by selling access to the user’s attention. An app is ad-free when it contains no adverts and no advertising code at all.
